I Don't Know What I'm Doing...

So I thought it would be fitting to title my first post on the blog, "I Don't Know what I am Doing," Not just because I have no idea how to work this blog just yet but also because in general, in life, I have no idea what I am doing. Anyone else feel the same? I am a mother of two toddlers, Andre is 5 and Leah just turned 2. I also work full time as a financial analyst in a paper mill in Maine. Hence my name, MillTownGirl207. Nerd Alert... I feel like as mothers, working or not, we all struggle with our identities after kids. It is so hard to hold on to yourself as a woman when you are giving everything to your children. I am learning along the way to let go of that mom guilt and allow myself grace to be me. We can still be wonderful mothers and at the same time be smart, successful, independent, sexy women.

So I started this blog to share my love of clothing and fashion with you all. I am so passionate about clothes and I always have been. When I was 10 I was designing my own clothes on paper and in real life. I took one of my bodysuits and literally poked holes in it with a compass used to draw circles to create a lace up look with my rainbow shoelace. It's legit that I have always been drawn to edgy but comfortable styles. I am hugely obsessed with neutrals and I do not wear a lot of color.  By sharing my style I hope to inspire you all to dress your body with respect and to most importantly feel confident and beautiful.
